Ask a question in your class

Ask your teachers on your class’s Q&A tab, about the class in general or about one of its lessons or activities, and read their answers there. Everyone in the class can read the questions and answers.

  1. 1

    Open your class’s Q&A

Select Classes in the left menu, open your class and go to the Q&A tab. It reads like a conversation: the oldest question at the top, the newest at the bottom, each with its answers. Show Earlier Questions loads older ones.

  2. 2

    Write your question

Type it in Ask a question at the bottom. Everyone in the class can read your question and its answers.

  3. 3

    Attach a lesson or activity

If your question is about something in the class, select Attach Lesson or Activity and choose a lesson or one of your activities. It shows as a chip; remove it from the chip if you change your mind. A question without one is about the class in general.

  4. 4

    Send it

Select Send Question. You see Your question was sent to the teaching team., and your question shows Waiting for an answer.

  5. 5

Ask while you study a lesson

In the lesson player, select Q&A in the top bar. The class’s Q&A opens beside the lesson on This Lesson, and a new question already has the lesson attached, with the video time when a video is playing. Whole Class shows every question.

  6. 6

Edit or delete while you wait

Until a teacher answers, open the menu on your question: Edit Question changes the text and Delete Question removes it after you confirm. Deleting cannot be undone.

  7. 7

Read the answer and ask a follow-up

When a teacher answers, you get the notification Your question was answered, which opens the question. A teacher’s answer is highlighted and marked Teacher. If something is still unclear, select Ask a Follow-up and Send Follow-up; the question waits for an answer again.
